Medical Director Responsibilities:
- Assist in administrative oversight of the facility’s medical services and serve as a local liaison for other medical services in the area
- Ensuring that medical services are coordinated and integrated with other client care services to ensure continuity of care for each client
- Providing supervision, consultation, and peer review of the facility’s physicians or nurse practitioners (as needed)
- Unrestricted MD or DO in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine in the state of Nevada
- Holds currents admitting privileges to a hospital in the Las Vegas area - this is required
- 3 years of experience in mental health and/ or substance use preferred
