Program Director Duties, Responsibilities, & Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the leadership and administration of all facility operations.
- Provide clinical services including group and individual counseling and collaborating with clinical team
- Work closely with ownership and executive leadership to promote the success of the facility
- Establishes and executes a strategic plan to promote program growth and respond to changes in marketplace
- Assisting in the development of written job descriptions for all staff, reviewing of credentials, participating in hiring of staff, and delineation and assignment of staff duties.
- Ensure policies and procedures are current with all regulatory requirements. Maintain exemplary performance with respect to contract specifications, and licensing and accreditation standards
- Leads and participates in performance improvement initiatives
- Master’s degree in either social work, counseling, or other human services field
- Licensure strongly preferred (LADC, LCSW or LCPC)
- Three years of management and/or supervisory experience in a mental health treatment environment preferred
- Strong leadership background with demonstrated results managing organizations
- Strong experience with for-profit mental health or substance use treatment facilities including those primarily funded by commercial insurance products and/or cash pay preferred
- Experience in start-up environments is preferred
- Experience working with state licensing requirements and accreditation standards preferred
