Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of tooling, programming, and materials handling within a manufacturing facility. The CNC Lathe Operator will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to specifications and production schedules.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
- Perform tooling changes and adjustments as necessary to maintain production quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to machine operation or part quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and assembly line teams to optimize production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document production activities, including setup procedures, machine performance, and quality checks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and operating various types of machinery, including press equipment.
- Familiarity with Fanuc/Haas and similar controls and programming is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Mastercam or similar CAD software for interpreting designs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of materials handling practices within a manufacturing context.
- Ability to work effectively in an assembly line environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
