Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of tooling, programming, and materials handling within a manufacturing facility. The CNC Mill Operator will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines with precision and efficiency.
- Set up tooling and fixtures for machining operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform programming tasks using Fanuc/Haas and similar controls to create machining programs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc systems.
- Strong knowledge of tooling and machining processes.
- Familiarity with Mastercam for design interpretation is advantageous.
- Ability to use various hand tools effectively.
- Knowledge of materials handling practices within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
