Tool Maker

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tool fabrication and assembly, with expertise in CNC programming and various machining techniques. As a Tool Maker, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and repairing tools and dies used in the production process, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Duties

• Assemble and fabricate tools and dies according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Operate CNC machines, lathes, and other equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Conduct inspections using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot design issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tool Maker or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, including lathe operations and assembly techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
