Equipment Operator

ARROW EXCAVATING is a family owned and operated business located in Post Falls, ID. We are currently seeking a full-time Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for the operation of a variety of equipment including but not limited to, excavators, dump trucks, backhoes, loaders, skid steer loaders, and other construction equipment. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of equipment and maintaining equipment in a clean and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain equipment in good working order
• Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment including but not limited to: operating equipment, loading product, unloading product, loading product on trucks, assisting project managers with loading/unloading trucks, maintaining records for all product delivered/delivered to customers, maintaining project site cleanliness and safety.
• Responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles including but not limited to: driving schedule, loading/unloading company vehicle with product, maintaining vehicle inventory.
• Keep work site clean and organized
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Experience and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license required; prior experience operating equipment preferred; previous experience as an equipment operator preferred.
• Previous experience operating equipment preferred; prior experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Must be able to read and write legibly in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
