What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator - Welding position at Arrow Fastener Co., LLC?
Job Requirements:
- A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Mechanical skills (Use of hand tools.)
- Ability to read & understand basic work instructions.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Work overtime as required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
- Loads conveyor with parts (magazines) for induction heat treating process.
- Follow directions from the Supervisor.
- Operate machine according to Standard Work and Training.
- Assemble product at all work station as per standard work.
- Perform checks and inspections to ensure the product is up to standards.
- Perform basic adjustments to the equipment to keep the lines moving
- Assist to troubleshoot all magazine assemble issues.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized area.
- Advise Supervisor of any situation that interrupts or prevent production from achieving maximum efficiency.
