Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented technical support specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical systems and a passion for providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will assist customers with remote troubleshooting and resolving technical issues through our ticket system, ensuring they have the best possible experience with our products or services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, such as software glitches, hardware malfunctions, or connectivity issues, and offer appropriate solutions.
- Provide exceptional technical support to customers by addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues related to our products and services.
- Accurately document and notate customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the ticket database to ensure detailed records are maintained.
- Identify complex issues and escalate them to the appropriate technical/development team, when necessary, ensuring timely follow-up with the customer.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, services, and features to effectively assist customers and provide accurate information.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, priortize, and resolve issues promptly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, hardware and peripheral devices (printers, card processors,USB devices, etc.) , Microsoft 365 Suite, Ticketing/CRM systems
Preferred Experience and/or Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) and/or professionally recognized technology certification such as: Comptia, CCNA, MCA/MCSE, etc.
- 4 years of experience in a technical support role, supporting Windows Operating Systems
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Ability to work any shift during company business hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
