The Accounting Manager will assist in preparing the books and records of the firm including the monthly close process, ensure that transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and prepare financial statements.

The Accounting Manager will assist in preparing the books and records of the firm including the monthly close process, ensure that transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and prepare financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Review and prepare the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements in conformity with U.S. GAAP
- Manage the month-end closing process and work with the accounting outsource provider to complete journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
- Analytical review of financial and management accounting information and presentation of analysis and commentaries
- Liaise with external auditors for consolidated and statutory audits
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years of accounting experience
- Background in public accounting
- CPA required
- Commodities experience a plus
