Our client is a global investment management firm with over $57 billion in AUM. They are looking to hire an Application Support Engineer to support the suite of tools used by the firms Portfolio and Risk Managers. This position will sit in Miami, Florida and they will provide relocation.
Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 support and have full ownership of the production environment for several key business lines (risk, analytics, trading, portfolio visualization, market data)
- End to end ownership of the production environment: application support, incident and problem management, automation of manual tasks
- 1-3 years of experience working within a global financial services firm supporting their front office trading applications
- Hands on experience in Unix/Shell scripting
- Hand on in SQL skills and knowledge of various database systems
- Python experience
- Strong experience with DevOps tooling
- Ability to support Windows environments
- Previous experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, OpsGenie)
- Fixed income products knowledge
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience with middleware solutions
- Experience with at least one cloud provider, AWS preferred
