The Compliance Audit Vice President will be responsible for supporting the oversight, design, and execution of the annual AML audit plan.
Responsibilities
- Analyze all evidence materials submitted to ensure compliance with regulations, regulatory expectations, and internal policies and procedures
- Design and execute audit tests on assigned issue validations and document all audit test results
- Ensure control issues are effectively resolved
- Evaluate management action plans to ensure that the audit issues identified are adequately addressed
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to identify emerging issues and thematic or systemic control issues affecting operations
- Assist with regulatory and external auditor inquires and ad hoc projects
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-12 years of related experience in control, risk, compliance, or audit at a large bank
- Experience using computer assisted auditing tools
- Knowledge of BSA/AML regulatory requirement and working knowledge of internal audit processes
- CAMS and/or other audit related certification is preferred
