Our client is a technology driven, multi-asset investment firm operating on a global scale. The Director of International Tax will be responsible for the planning, structuring, and compliance across multiple international tax jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cross-border structuring and planning including analyses and modeling for tax impacts, ramifications, and optimization
- Ensure timely compliance for international requirements
- Assist with ASC740 review and prepare internal tax technical memorandums
- Perform technical research and analyses for transfer pricing, permanent establishment, foreign tax credits, tax policy changes, and anti-hybrid and tax avoidance rules
- Ensure that existing and future tax processes and controls operate efficiently and are flexible and scalable
- Monitor relevant international legislative and regulatory changes
- Liaise and manage tax examinations, inquiries, and negotiations
- Maser’s degree in taxation required
- 10-15 years of experience with international tax
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to communicate complex tax language into straightforward summaries
