Our client is an alternative asset management firm investing in the private equity, credit, and real estate space, with distressed funds expertise. The Financial Reporting Analyst will support the Corporate Controller in the day-to-day accounting and reporting for the firm.
Responsibilities
- Assist in consolidations and management of monthly and quarterly close processes
- Prepare monthly consolidation journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain the general ledger including new account and legal entity requests
- Prepare quarterly senior management analytics
- Compile and provide detail support and analysis for internal files and external audit review
- Assist in maintaining sound SOX controls environment and ensuring proper documentation of processes
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting
- CPA preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
$75,000-$85,000
