IT Disaster Recovery Manager

About The Company

Our client is a large commercial bank composed of high-quality loans and securities with over $16 billion in AUM. The IT Disaster Recovery Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) aligned with regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, update, and maintain comprehensive IT DRP documentation including runbooks and procedures
• Participate in the development and implementation of the BCP and ensure alignment between IT DRP and the overall BCP
• Manage IT DRP testing calendar and conduct regular tests of IT systems and applications
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to IT systems and applications’ resiliency
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce the impact of potential disasters
• Assess the resilience of third-party solution providers
• Review the existing IT disaster recovery architecture/design and make recommendations for improvement
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans for IT systems
• Strong understanding of FFIEC and NY DFS compliance requirements
• Experience creating reports that include project metrics, KPIs, and strategic initiatives to drive and track progress
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent certification preferred
• Knowledge of Infinite Blue-BC in the Cloud or equivalent BCM systems
  
  

Salary Range

$135,000-$165,000
