About the Company:
Our client is a financial technology company that specializes in connecting wealth managers and investors with access to alternative investment opportunities, simplifying the process through a streamlined platform.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with US and global payrolls
- Manage ongoing state employment tax requirements with tax providers
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with payroll service partners including correspondence, ad-hoc requests, escalation, and troubleshooting
- Review and finalize timesheets for US non-exempt employees
- Reconcile changes that affect pay along with one-time payments and severance payments
- Manage other pay inputs such as garnishments and deduction corrections as needed
- Assist with global year-end processes
- Coordinate data needed for audit responses for internal/external payroll audits and compliance reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- 7-10 years of multi-state payroll experience
- Global payroll experience a plus
- In-depth knowledge of payroll taxes and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws
- Experience with automated payroll systems
- Dayforce experience strongly preferred
Salary Range:
$100,000-$140,000
