Our client is a global asset manager with over $135 billion in AUM. The firm leverages direct lending and real estate strategies for its investors. The Portfolio Analytics Associate will be responsible for the firm’s P&A function including performance calculations.
Responsibilities
- Organize the firm’s portfolio exposure and performance data to capture key statistics on all funds
- Work closely with financial accounting teams and fund administrator on investment level details for performance calculations and reporting
- Develop key reporting measures including calculations for exposure percentage, asset class and data classifications, P&L reporting, and more
- Build upon the fund portfolio performance returns database while incorporating attribution reporting methodology
- Review and maintain all require client reporting templates and ad hoc requests
- Support the marketing update process to deliver statistics required to update all quarterly materials
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, IT, or computer science
- 5-7 years of experience in a performance analysis role
- Experience with IVP, Sequel, Tableau reporting a plus
- Prior experience at a private equity firm
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information
