Our client is a private investment firm with over $100 billion in AUM specializing in global real estate and alternative assets, focusing on high-growth markets and strategic acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for the GP and home team entities
- Track and maintain bank account listings and assist in the opening and closing of accounts
- Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Assist in the maintenance of cash movements across various levels of the partnership structure
- Track and prepare capital contributions and distributions allocations for partnership accounting
- Assist in maintaining accounting records for GP entities ensuring accurate tracking of equity and carried interest
- Assist with audits by gathering documentation and supporting schedules
- Assist with tax and K-1 preparation
- Support with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger experience
- Big4 experience preferred
- Real estate industry experience a plus
- Yardi experience a plus
