Our client is a private investment firm with over $100 billion in AUM with a focus on global real estate. The Senior Accountant will do a mix of corporate and property accounting for the firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Manage and oversee debt activity, capital assets, and fixed asset activity
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5-8 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel and accounting software knowledge
- Yardi experience a plus
