Our client is a business development company with an enterprise value of $3 billion experiencing huge growth and is building out a NYC-based team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for GAAP revenue recognition and loan servicing system for loan-related activities
- Review journal entries related to loan servicing received from the loan servicing administrator
- Analyze loan accounting system reports, research errors on loan accounts, and process adjusting entries and record entries
- Analyze revenue from a holistic perspective, including analysis and explanation for revenue fluctuations, yield analysis and help with revenue projections
- Prepare technical memos on accounting for debt restructures, assessment of accounting and reporting treatment in compliance with GAAP and accounting policies
- Assemble documentation to summarize and evidence quarterly processes for SOX and audit compliance and portfolio audit confirmation process
- Verify portfolio transaction activity and accounting records against legal documentation and due diligence and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CPA Required
- 4-6 years of experience in accounting/operations
- Professional experience in a financial services environment preferred
$120,000-$140,000
