Essential Job Duties

People Leadership:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team through hiring, training, and ongoing development.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and results.

Strategic Sales Planning:

  • Create and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Establish long-term growth strategies for market expansion and revenue.
  • Lead bid processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders on proposals.

Market Research and Pipeline Opportunity Identification:

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Lead evaluations of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Set and oversee achievement of revenue and growth targets.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop proposals and close deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and secure deals.

Position Requirements

  • Must come from security guarding or security electronic manufacturer industry.
  • Have to have relationships with end-user customers, not just distributors.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the security industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams, managing cross-functional collaborations, and driving results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate opportunities and risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and resource management.

Ability to travel domestically up to 60% in the Tristate area.

Compensation Range: $150,000- $175,000 Annually Commission
