Caregiver

• Provide direct care and assistance to individuals in need, including those with developmental disabilities and memory care needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs under the supervision of a nurse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
• Engage individuals in meaningful activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals in your care.
• Document observations, incidents, and changes in medical condition accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for individuals.

• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities and memory care needs.
• Ability to cook meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor to provide quality care and support.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or assignments.
