Arrow is looking for a full-time Restoration Technician (Demolition) to join our reconstruction team!

As a Restoration Technician (Demolition), you will play a crucial role assisting with various tasks related to property reconstruction and overall project support. If you are a seasoned veteran, you won't get bored with the many different projects we handle on a daily basis. If you are newer to the profession and have minimal experience, we have a team of skilled Restoration Technicians ready to share their knowledge.
Training is fully paid and on-the-job with our experienced team members. Expected training is 2 weeks but depends on progress.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Extraction of damaged building materials, structures, and fixtures that have been affected by water, fire, or mold damage
- Careful removal of base and casing (that can be reused/re-nailed)
- Removal or extraction of various types of insulation
- Removal of hard flooring, rolled flooring, carpet, and carpet pad.
- Cutting and removal of drywall and framing
- Trash/material waste and worksite cleanup
- Perform a variety of manual tasks, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools
- Setting up and taking down equipment
- Completion of Punch List Items
- Compliance with safety regulations
- Operation of box truck and trailers
Other Duties (as needed) include:
- Assisting other reconstruction specialists (carpenters), or mitigation technicians when needed
Experience and Skills:
- Carpentry and/or demolition experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
- Individual must be familiar with aspects of the carpentry and/or construction profession
- Ability to complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to operate/drive a box truck, van, pickup, and have the ability to tow a trailer
- Ability to be professional, act with integrity, and have the ability to show empathy
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Demands:
- Lift (constantly) 5-15 lbs., lift (frequently) 15-50 lbs
- May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull
- Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling
- Ability to work in confined spaces (occasional) such as attics or crawl spaces
- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat
- Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent
Pay:
- Starting at $19 - $22hr., but DOE (depends on experience)
- On-call pay and bonus (once deemed eligible to participate, per occurrence)
- 90-day review (potential for wage adjustment)
- Annual reviews scheduled thereafter within department review cycle (potential for wage adjustment if applicable)

Schedule:
- 40 - 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 7:30am through 5pm (may slightly vary depending on travel distance, when applicable)
- Rotating on-call schedule (for afterhours emergencies, once deemed eligible to participate)
- Occasional over-nights (hotel room paid, per diem offered)
Education:
- High School or equivalent
License/Certification:
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Reliable transportation for getting to and from work
