What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Generation and Junior Marketing Specialist position at Arrow Sign Company?
II. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for acquiring leads for the sales team as well as marketing the Arrow product on social media websites, trade shows, and through client relationships. The goal of this position is to maintain a constant influx of new business while maintaining a working relationship with past clients.
Main Duties:
- Develop Marketing strategies, create brand awareness, facilitate and support business development programs
- Track RFP’s for national sign vendor opportunities, private and public bid opportunities via Bidclerk and the Alameda Builders Exchange
- Manage and update Ace of Sales client database
- Create Marketing collateral for Marketing and Sales initiatives
- Manage Marketing email campaigns, lead generation and telemarketing
- Data mining of newspapers and other sign industry avenues
- Go over bid invitations and look through plans
- Manage Arrow’s social media outlets: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Flickr
- Manage Google AdWords campaigns
- Build and nurture existing relationships with business owners, general contractors, developers and architects
- Coordinate, budget and attend trade shows, event forums and lunch and learns
- Cold call business owners, general contractors, developers and architects for new business opportunities
- Assist with updating yearly General Contractor prequalification’s
- Other duties as assigned
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fully perform each of the job duties, described above, satisfactorily. The additional requirements listed below are the minimum qualifications required for this position.
- Minimum Educational Requirements: High School Diploma, Marketing Degree preferred
- Work Experience/Job Knowledge Requirements:
1. Minimum proven 1-2 years of directly related experience.
2. Must possess proven knowledge and ability with internet communications, and etiquette.
3. Must possess excellent oral, written and communication skills.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Travel required: Occasional travel to visit General Contractors, and attend Trade Shows
- License required: A valid California Driver’s license.
- Vehicle/Transportation: Must have reliable transportation or a company vehicle may be provided for business related travel purposes.
- Insurance requirement: Must demonstrate adequate proof of insurance for personal vehicle or must be insurable under the Company’s Vehicle Insurance Policy if assigned a Company Vehicle.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
