Temporary Sales Associate

A leading sheet metal manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Temporary Sales Associate to join their dynamic team. The Sales Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales process, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring excellent communication with customers.

Schedule : M- F : 6 : 00A -2 : 30P

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Sales Associate include, but are not limited to, the following :

Contract Management : Reviews incoming contracts and prepares Sales Order packets for release to production.

Data Entry : Inputs new sales and customer data into the Sales Backlog Database and ensures it is maintained daily. A printed copy of the database is distributed weekly to relevant company parties.

Customer Reports : Reviews and maintains customer follow-up reports, updating information as required to meet customer needs.

Customer Relations : Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

Quote Management : Manages incoming requests for quotes, assigns Quote Numbers, and gathers the necessary information for the Sales Team to complete the quoting process.

Qualifications :

3 Recent years of consistent proven experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficient in data entry and database management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when needed.

Familiarity with the sheet metal manufacturing industry is a plus but not required.
