HVAC Technician
Location: Smyrna, TN
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24/hr
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our facilities team. This role focuses on providing general maintenance and technical support for building systems, with an emphasis on HVAC troubleshooting and repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility operations and a hands-on approach to solving problems efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained
- Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems and controls, including power and mechanical components
- Perform general and preventative maintenance across various systems including carpentry, plumbing, and lighting
- Replace bulbs, ballasts, and other lighting components as needed
- Move and install office furniture, equipment, and materials when requested
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and service tasks
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail, with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and their maintenance and repair
- Comfortable working with a variety of building systems and tools
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in facilities or HVAC maintenance
Salary : $22 - $24
