Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Job Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Worker Repair & Recovery Associate to help minimize loss and waste by repairing damaged goods efficiently and cost-effectively. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to perform investigations and repairs in a timely manner while maintaining a smooth workflow in the Repair/Recovery Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimize loss and waste by facilitating repairs while keeping costs within estimations.
- Investigate damage reports within 48 hours based on information from Store Quality Technicians.
- Complete all repairs following work orders and protocols.
- Maintain smooth pallet flow in the Repair/Recovery Area.
- Provide excellent service to stores by ensuring timely and accurate repairs.
- Assess damaged goods and ensure all salable items are packaged as close to their original state as possible.
- Create and monitor tracking reports to measure results and productivity.
- Promote and embody the IKEA culture, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- STEEL TOE BOOTS REQUIRED
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Dress Code Standards:
- Allowed: Jeans or woven material pants, knee-length or longer shorts.
- Not Allowed:
- Shiny athletic material, spandex, or yoga pants
- Sweatpants, basketball shorts, or pajama bottoms
- Tank tops, sleeveless shirts, or low-cut tops
- Clothing with inappropriate or unprofessional logos/phrases
