Purpose: This position is responsible for accurate tracking, labeling, efficient storage and timely distribution of goods and materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs counts of critical inventory items daily
- Confirms that physical inventory matches system inventory by performing full and cycle inventory counts.
- Ensures all incoming materials are labeled properly
- Maintain, manage, and update inventory items in software system, knowledge of Acumatica and JIRA, a plus.
- Assist the purchasing department with miscellaneous administration responsibilities
- Tracks inventory, maintains accurate stock levels, and investigates inventory discrepancies.
- Receives and resolves incoming request involving transaction discrepancies reported by Operations, Customer Service or Purchasing.
- Ensure storage areas are well-organized and comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications:
- Attention to detail a MUST.
- Ability to understand the purpose of various inventory tracking methods and forms with accurate and timely completion of transactions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while keeping the supply of materials to the various production areas current, in addition to maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Must possess competent or above computer skills. Experience & competency using Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills
- Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds occasionally required.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years (recent) inventory management experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills, required.
- Experience within the manufacturing industry, preferred.
