Role Overview:
As the Overnight Remote Supports Specialist, your role is to ensure the safety and well-being of the people you supervise through remote monitoring. This role will require you to be attentive and alert throughout the entirety of your overnight shift. This job requires you to live in Duluth, MN.
Responsibilities:
- ● Provide detailed and attentive support through remote monitoring from the hours of 8pm-6am.
- Must be awake for entirety of this shift.
- Respond appropriately, according to an individuals plan in-case of emergency or other purposes to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Gather report about the details of the day from evening staff at the start of each shift
- Document activity throughout the night and verbally report to the morning staff about the details of each night.
- Fulfill additional tasks delegated by your supervisor.
Required Skills:
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work with people who have significant intellectual disabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with technology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Highly punctual
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to effectively respond in a crisis or emergency situation
Qualifications:
● Preferred education in social work or psychology.
● Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
● Preferred training in mental health and first aid.
Requirements:
● Valid driver's license.
● Access to a working vehicle with a clean driving record and active insurance.
● Completion of orientation and annual training sessions.
Schedule:
● Fixed schedule: Seven days on/seven days off, 8pm-6am
● 70 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits:
● Salary: $16.50 per hour starting
● Signing Bonus: $500 distributed upon meeting specific milestones
● Health, dental, and life insurance for employees regularly scheduled for a minimum of 24 hours per week.
● Paid time off
