What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worker's Compensation Customer Service Representative position at Arrowhead Orthopaedics?
The Worker's Compensation Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering calls for the workers comp department. Ensure deliverance of PR2, Disability Status and DFRs to all parties. Act as a liaison between parties and assist the workers compensation department in any other areas deemed necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Answer all calls from various offices
- Answer calls in a professional and prompt manner.
- Assist caller with information needed - status of appointment, faxing Disability Status and faxing reports.
- Create Doctor's First Report of Injury and fax.
- Follow-up on requests for reports.
- Transfer calls to designated scheduler and / or office / department
- Fax Disability Status and PR2 to parties.
- Monitor fax line and distribute referrals accordingly.
- Assist the department with intakes as needed during low call volume.
- Assist workers compensation department in any other areas deemed necessary.
- Meet with manager biweekly to discuss goals issues
