Job Summary
Perform Radiographic Weld inspection. Processes hardware in accordance with internal, customer and / or industry requirements. Evaluates and interprets the quality of applicable fusion weld, machined and forged products to meet company and customer specifications. Supports other NDT personnel; provides guidance to and mentors trainees; and Level I and II Technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs proper warm up and system performance checks of NDT equipment.
- Maintains daily, monthly logs and applicable records to assure traceability of components.
- Performs interpretations and evaluations of NDT results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Is responsible for writing work instructions and other documentation.
- May perform and / or participate in NDT system, customer, internal and NADCAP audits.
- Provides on-the-job training and guidance to NDT trainees and NDT Level I and II personnel.
- May perform level I duties in addition to level II duties.
- Shall comply with other duties as assigned.
- Overtime may be required.
