Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a manufacturing company find an IT Associate in the Cleveland, OH area. This position will support the business in all aspects of Information Technology.
Essential Functions
- Provide support activity dealing with all computer hardware, mobile devices, printing equipment, and telecommunications equipment.
- Log all support activity in the company’s Help Desk System.
- Provide telephone, remote, and on-site troubleshooting, training, and tech support to all employees.
- Perform and log all necessary software installs and updates.
- Utilize 3rd party vendor support to resolve internal issues.
- Maintain strict confidentiality concerning all information and materials that come into your possession or knowledge as a result of your job responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a current understanding of the latest technology, utilizing outside training, as necessary.
- Help facilitate training sessions as needed.
- Comply with all company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Interface with various vendors to support essential systems:
- Dassault Systems for the IQMS (ERP system)
- Work with DEXImaging/Meritech regarding office printer issues
- MSISI regarding Sales data integration
- BBN regarding Backups and network configuration
- AireSpring Phone systems
- ISPs for internet access
Qualifications
- BS or Associate's Degree or vocational preparation in information technology required.
Background/Training/Skills/Experience
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in information technology or related fields is required, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Experience supporting multiple departments in a business setting.
- Interpersonal skills to work with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to document and triage incoming support requests, and be able to escalate or collaborate with consultants when necessary.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage expectations of fellow employees by clearly communicating "next steps" and timelines throughout the troubleshooting process.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals preferred.
- Experience using and supporting a variety of telecommunications equipment.
- Experience with Windows-based PCs and server hardware, including evaluating, troubleshooting, upgrading, initial setup, and repairing said hardware, is required.
- Experience supporting all Microsoft Office 365 products preferred.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.
- Bonus knowledge would include:
- Domain URL management
- Scripting ability to write custom PowerBI, and/or Crystal Reports
- Knowledge of eSET, ScreenConnect, FortiNet, Firewall, and AppRiver.
