Our toy client, a global leader in the toy and game industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you are passionate about bringing innovative toy concepts to life and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with design and marketing on generating new concepts, and provide technical advice and assessment.
- Design and build proof-of-concept models as needed to prove out feasibility.
- Collaborate with Cost Engineering to estimate product costs, recommend cost reduction options, and drive the team to cost decisions.
- Create product and performance specifications.
- Gather and report accurate information for key stakeholders to make informed decisions.
- Anticipate, analyze, resolve, and escalate project issues throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Lead product review meetings and review engineering pilot samples for function, aesthetics, and quality issues.
- Communicate project details with engineering teams (domestic and international), as well as other global development, marketing, and operational partners.
- Monitor continuous improvement initiatives to improve process efficiency and productivity.
