Summary :
Arrowmark is seeking Mechanics to join our team! The Mechanic maintains and repairs diesel-powered construction and automotive equipment. Cat and John Deere experience preferred.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Examines and locates mechanical defects on vehicles and construction equipment
- Conducts a variety of mechanical repairs on vehicles and construction equipment
- Conducts engine tune-ups, replaces brakes, repairs electrical and hydraulic systems
- Maintains records of time and materials used on each job
- Skillfully and safely operates a variety of light and heavy duty vehicles and construction equipment
- Reports damaged or faulty equipment to management
- Supports and follows all Safety policies, procedures, and practices
- Other duties assigned as necessary
Qualifications :
Physical Requirements : Must be able to wear different types of PPE as required and pass a basic physical. Must have ability to stand, sit, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and lift. Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds in performance of duties. Exposure to moving machinery which includes all trucks and equipment noises caused by heavy equipment and tools. Exposure to dust, fumes, and other irritants.
