Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior HealthTechnician Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will work directly with individuals in addiction recovery and provide support in various settings. This role requires a strong leadership qualities, an understanding of behavioral health principles, crisis intervention techniques, and the ability to document medical records accurately.

The Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor (BHT Sup) is responsible for the direct supervision of the BHT staff on a daily basis and to ensure proper and accurate communication among the Behavioral Health Technicians.

EDUCATION: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

preferred.

2. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year sustained sobriety and experience working in a sober living environment and/or behavioral health treatment facility preferred.

A minimum of 2 years experience in management of a recovery residence/sober living environment preferred.

A minimum of 3 years clean driving record.

Must be able to pass a drug toxicology test.

3. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Certified Recovery Specialist Certification preferred.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

1. Responsible to train and supervise all Behavioral Health Technician staff.

2. Responsible for ensuring all move-in and move-out forms are complete and accurate in the EMR and that all assigned paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner.

3. Responsible for ensuring all resident personal property is inventoried accurately and photographed by Behavioral Health Technicians in the EMR.

4. Responsible for completing resident scheduled activities including, but not limited to: move-in and move-out; random alco-sensor tests, urine drug screens, room searches, searches of resident personal property for contraband in accordance with established policies and procedure and documentation to support all activities by the Behavioral Health Technicians in the EMR.

5. Responsible for conducting recovery residence/sober living environment move-in and move-out orientation, as necessary, to ensure resident compliance.

7. Responsible to participate, when necessary, in shift turnover.

8. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring all shifts are covered efficiently.

9. Responsible for documenting all unusual activity, vandalism, maintenance issues, injuries and medical concerns to Supervisor as necessary.

10. Responsible for distributing incoming mail to residents.

11. Responsible for developing, overseeing and ensuring Behavioral Health Technician coverage of all holidays and shifts, daily work schedule, review and approval of timesheets, and paid time off.

12. Responsible to complete Behavioral Health Technician performance evaluations (90-day and annual), disciplinary actions/notice to personnel file and termination paperwork, as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,500.00 - $50,000.00 per year
