Position Description:
The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for dispensing any medications the clinic may utilize in the treatment of patients. The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for the completeness of all medical aspects of the medical record and works with the Director of Nursing to assure appropriate medical care for patients. The Dispensing Nurse will adhere to the vision and mission of the Company

Essential Functions:
- Sets up for dispensing of medication and dispenses medication
- Monitors medication inventory
- Enters notes and physician orders
- Completes COW’s as needed to process dose changes and puts notes in system
- Collects drug screens and labs as needed
- Monitors vital signs for dose changes
- Participates in Treatment team and regular Medical Meetings
Qualifications:
- License Practical Nurse
- Experience dispensing medications
- Proficient in the use of personal computers
- Successful completion of State required background check and required training
