Job Summary
Director, Business Development - Government Services works with the Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Operations to drive the growth of the company’s client base with a focus on the Government sector. The candidate will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for targeting, sourcing, and onboarding Government and Financial Services clients. Proven Government collections sales experience is critical to the success of the position. The candidate will possess strong relationship building, communication, problem solving, client relationship, sourcing, and operation management skills.
Essential Duties
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and pitch materials in connection with business development opportunities.
- Conduct market research aligned with the Company’s strategic plan to identify prospective clients, competitor activity, and market trends/opportunities.
- Leverage sales and operations experience in the Government and Financial Services sector to grow the ARS service offering and develop overall market opportunity.
- Through existing and new relationships in the Government and Financial Services sector, develop a pipeline and execute new business relationships.
- Manage new client relationships to drive penetration into additional areas of the client’s operations.
- Support new client onboarding process and/or business integration.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or directly related equivalent experience.
- 5 years’ proven sales and business development experience in collections, recovery, third party, and first party engagements.
- Demonstrable network of relationships in Government and Financial Services sectors.
- 5 years’ experience in the Government sector sales, collections, and recovery operations.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
- Ability to satisfactorily meet ARS’s criminal background investigation criteria.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a climate-controlled setting, seated continuously and is sedentary the majority of the workday. This position may be work from home, hybrid, or in a call center with moderate to high noise levels & frequent foot traffic. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones/headsets. Work area stations and cubicles are close in proximity to others.

- Must possess self-motivation and be self-disciplined to complete necessary job duties and pro-actively seek all necessary information.
