What You Might Do:
- Provide project management and advisory support for Department of Defense (DoD) R&D initiatives.
- Translate complex scientific efforts into programmatic and budgetary planning documents.
- Support the full lifecycle of acquisition planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE).
- Participate in technical reviews, interagency meetings, and strategic planning efforts.
- Track cost, schedule, and performance metrics across technical portfolios.
- Prepare briefings and products for senior leadership and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the DoD and related agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5 years of related experience.
- Prior experience in project management for software development or science and technology initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance.
- Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
- DAWIA Level II certification or equivalent.
- PMP or Agile certification.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition policies and Agile methodologies.
