ARServices is seeking a Technical Writer/Operations Analyst to work in the Millington, TN area.
A Technical Writer/Operations Analyst will support the OPNAV N1 Personnel, Manpower, and Training (PMT) effort. This position supports the Navy Recruiting Command (NRC). The NRC is the Navy’s organization whose mission is to recruit the highest caliber Sailors required to exceed the Navy’s Fleet needs and build bench depth. The incumbent will provide customer experience support and other critical support to this mission. The NRC enterprise consists of 2 Navy Recruiting Regions, 1 Navy Recruiting Reserve Command, 26 Navy Talent Acquisition Groups, 5 Reserve Talent Acquisition Groups, and 1 Recruiter School.
This position resides in the NRC HQ located in Millington, TN. The incumbent, working directly with the staff supporting the NRC, shall provide flexible on-demand support for special initiatives, projects, and tasks as directed by the Commander, NRC. Taskings involve responses to entities within the NRC enterprise as well as outside entities to include: Commander, Naval Education and Training, Chief of Naval Personnel, Chief of Naval Operations, SECNAV, DOD, and Congressional Offices and Committees.

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Conceptualize and design PowerPoint presentations for flag-level officer final approval. Research and analyze information then discern content that accurately and succinctly depicts the briefing intent. Adhere to standardized briefing Navy formats. Additionally, design and layout visual content that works in harmony with data to deliver professional appearing presentations.
- Assist in capturing data that characterize the intent of the data, statistics, metrics, and historical information for the intended audience. Work directly with NRC departments to ascertain up-to-date, and accurate data to design / develop for dashboarding in support of various NRC initiatives.
- Maintain flexible posture when responding to urgent taskings. Conduct research for a myriad of taskings and initiatives. Final product for these types of taskings include: Navy correspondence, one-page briefs, Quad Charts, and detailed email responses.
Active/current Secret clearance is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Four (4) or more years of total experience.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to support business writing, and professional correspondence.
- High Proficiency with MS Office experience (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Experience with dashboarding, data insights, Salesforce dashboarding and configuration.
- Experience using SharePoint.
- Experience with military recruiting.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced program management environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Navy N-1, NRC and/or comparable Defense Agencies/Federal components.
- Experience working with senior DOD officials.
- Experience with supporting senior stakeholders and client in high-profile roles and missions.
