Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated install Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a timely and professional manner. The product is delivered in a pick up and trailer. This role requires strong customer service skills and mechanically inclined The Delivery Driver will ensure that all deliveries are executed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to customer locations.
• Install appliances as needed during delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns from customers.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including schedules and inventory.
• Troubleshoot basic issues with appliances or equipment during delivery, utilizing mechanical knowledge and schematics when necessary.
• Ensure that all products are delivered in good condition, properly testing appliances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge, particularly install of appliance or able to be trained
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to appliances and equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate delivery documentation.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with delivery duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
