ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR – ART
OLIVE-HARVEY COLLEGE
Olive-Harvey College and its satellite site, the South Chicago Learning Center, offer associates degrees, short-term certificate programs, professional and personal development courses, as well as GED and ESL programs. Through College to Careers, Olive-Harvey College offers programs that have been developed with employers and four-year colleges in transportation, distribution and logistics (TDL), one of the region’s fastest-growing industries. The Department of Humanities is currently seeking an Art Adjunct Instructor.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You must demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed.
- Maintain office hours for advising, mentoring and coaching students.
- Development and revision of courses and instructional materials as necessary.
- Post syllabi and grades on Brightspace.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree with a major in Art, and relevant teaching experience.
- Knowledge of Brightspace Learning Management System.
- Must be able to work in a multicultural environment that reflects our student body and embraces our vision and mission.
