The position will also develop and support a suite of analytic tools, data visualizations, and reports.

This role provides analytic support and strategic insights for the organization’s Finance and Operations areas. This position will work cross-functionally with leadership in the Facilities, Finance, and Protection Services departments to identify opportunities to leverage data. The position will also develop and support a suite of analytic tools, data visualizations, and reports.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internally-developed data warehouses.
- Extract specialized datasets from function-specific software platforms.
- Identify practical efficiency gains through data analysis.
- Lead the strategic and forward-looking development of reports and data visualizations.
- Support the design, execution, and evaluation of real-word experiments.
- Perform additional tasks as-needed.
- B.S. or B.A. required. A degree of study in Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or Finance preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial or analytics role preferred.
- Minimum 2 years practical experience and business proficiency in SQL (e.g., MSSQL) required. Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau), ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx), and report writing (e.g., SSRS) is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated desire to collaborate cross-departmentally and take ownership of work products.
- Experience presenting work products to end users and collaborators with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to adapt to changing best practices; willing to contribute to optimization of processes and programs consistently.
- Demonstrated understanding of data structure concepts and theory.
- Experience with API consumption, cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and issue tracking software (e.g., Jira) is highly preferred
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting principles.
