Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of safety rules and regulations required to prevent injury to team members and other staff in work area
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to anticipate mechanical issues
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form
- Ability and willingness to continue professional development through training programs as offered
- Ability to prioritize jobs by order of importance, location, equipment and personnel availability, etc.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well with a wide range of individuals
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a service technician
- GM Certifications and/or ASE certifications
- Must be State-of-Michigan Certified
- Skilled in Drivability, and Auto Transmission a plus
Salary : $60 - $150
