About the Role
Art of Catering has been Portland’s premier catering and events company for over 25 years. AOC is excited to hire a Facility Lead to add to our team!
The role of the facility lead will include but is not limited to: Maintaining facility cleanliness, building maintenance, kitchen organization, vehicle maintenance, product pickup, & occasional dish pit duties. They will possess good organizational skills, be able to drive both the cargo van and the large box truck & be able to lift at least 50 pounds. This individual must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Good time management and organizational skills are paramount to their success.
Responsibilities
- Building and vehicle management and maintenance
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly cleaning duties
- Event rental pick-ups and returns
- Kitchen and beverage runs and pick-ups
- Assist with loading and unloading events as needed
- Backup dishwashing
Qualifications
- Experience in a food or warehouse environment preferred
- Knowledge and experience in offsite catering preferred
Requirements
- OLCC and Food Handlers Card
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver's License
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
Salary : $18 - $22
