What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Receiving Associate position at Art of Glass Wholesale?
We are seeking a person with knowledge and experience in warehouse shipping and receiving to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities. Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material
- Ensure products are packaged safely for transport
- Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
- Assist customers with shipping inquiries
- Data entry into in house system, maintaining stock levels & items received.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
- Microsoft excel proficient
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to lift op to 50 lbs.
- Critical/creative thinking
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
