What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Arta's Italian?
Bartenders : Pay is $15/hour plus tips.
Arta's just installed a new bar! Now we need to staff it. We are a fine dining, authentic Italian restaurant, featuring white cloth tables and crystal stemware.
We are in need of experienced bartenders. Our clientele is a bit more sophisticated and prefers a higher quality drink.
We already sell wine at a much higher rate than other local restaurants before we had a bar. You will be expected to become familiar with our wine list. You will learn from our in-house sommelier on proper wine etiquette with bottle opening, to pouring and serving.
Pay is $15/hour plus tips. In contrast, our wait staff averages over $200/night in tips.
We do have a dress code of black dress pants and a white buttoned dress shirt.
Must be able to work with Micros POS system, take orders/carry-outs, and run the bar. Willing to work with a schedule but preferably looking for a full-time bartender Mon-Sat, evenings only as we are only open for dinner.
