Job Purpose / Scope :
Reporting to the VP, International Sales, Coinage, the Sr. Sales Project Manager will collaborate with internal resources such as finance, engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to support international coinage and bullion business opportunities by costing, sample creation, proposal development, and related marketing activities. Interaction with existing and potential customers to maintain and build strong relationships, with a focus on identifying new opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales & marketing product management with a coinage manufacturing company.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
Essential Functions
Collaborate with internal resources to coordinate and project manage end to end the process for formal RFP / RFQ / RFI projects for new international coinage and bullion ensuring adherence to customer RFQs and current production capabilities.Identify non-standard questions, complex requirements, and develop proposal schedules to ensure timely delivery.Expeditiously respond to customer inquiries including specification confirmation, price, and lead-time.Continually communicate with primary customers to stay in tune with their business, including current and future requirements, quality or service issues, competitive situation, quality concerns and more.Follow up regularly with smaller and infrequent customers to ensure we remain in a position to service their needs.Coordinate business development activities for sales leadershipMaterial Preparation for Sales Meetings, Seminars, Conferences and EventsComplete weekly update of all activities and submit to the Department ManagerDevelop and maintain a well-organized electronic filing system to ensure reports, correspondence and other documentation are maintained and readily available including response documents and database records.Secondary
Take ownership of the product plan and roadmap for ZincSecure™Stay abreast of market trends (pricing, new technologies, competitive landscape) to ensure ARTAZN products are positioned to optimize profitability.Lead ZincSecure™ marketing initiatives with central banks and potential striking partners.Support VP, International Sales, representing ARTAZN at international trade shows and customer visits.Maintain working knowledge of company products in terms of service development and functionality requirements, marketing, and operations content.Coordinate and prepare meetings (meeting invitations, equipment, visitor’s badges, meals, materials).Lead best practice in proposal development through process improvements and lessons learned.Gather and analyze market intelligence of competitors / partners.Special projects as requested by my management.Knowledge / Experience / Skills :
Bachelor's Business with a focus in Marketing, Communications, Engineering or Technical.3 or more years’ experience developing sales proposals to support RFI / RFQ / RFP.Experience in a customer-facing or customer-support role preferably in a metals manufacturing environment.Proposal or Associate Proposal Management Professional or Project Management Professional certification a plus.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, business management systems for controlled document management.Ability to lead a cross-functional team to gather information to support customer proposals that meet requirements and internal competencies with high quality and aligned with business objectives.Ability to apply judgment and be decisive.Ability to work well independently and within groups.Ability to coordinate proposal development strategy, project execution plan and review of critical commercial terms of the contract.Specifics :
