Title : Assembler

Location : Hampstead, NH

Duration : 6 Months

Position Summary

Assembles Glass to Metal Seals.

Responsibilities

  • Independently assembles various component parts for producing Glass to Metal Seals, assuring product integrity.
  • Can perform all job levels (green, yellow, and red).
  • Verifies paperwork, material and picking ticket for accuracy.
  • Loads and unloads oven.
  • Documents necessary changes and provides product and process feedback to Cell Leader and Supervisor.
  • Can do some basic troubleshooting and provide feedback.
  • Keeps informed and has a general knowledge of production issues.
  • Preforms simple inspection of product.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties and special assignments that may be assigned.

Environmental Conditions

  • Manufacturing Shop floor environment.

    • Education & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic math, reading and writing skills.
  • Must be able to read product drawings.

    • Equipment Used

  • Magnifying lenses, tweezers and microscopes, drop indicator and verniers.

    • Experience

  • Generally, 1 year of glass-to-metal seal or comparable small part assembly experience. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Must have good hand eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Must have dexterity to hand small parts and work with magnifying lenses and microscopes.
