Description :
The Senior Analyst, Compliance Analytics, supports the execution and adoption of our Compliance Analytics Platform, including Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) Operations-specific dashboards, tools and systems, to manage and mitigate risk. This role is also responsible for informing, executing and adjusting the annual, US monitoring plans leveraging data analytics and performing data analysis to inform our on-going understanding of potential Compliance risks, and providing guidance for business led monitoring activities.
Job Responsibilities :
Supports the implementation of OEC Operations analytics and digital platforms, including creation of user training and guidance documents, design and implementation of processes to support Compliance analytics deployments, and guiding users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go live activities.
User advocate - aids in creating a loyal end user base, driving adoption and understanding user needs. Collaborates with OEC teams, Business Technology, and other cross-functional teams to address user needs and create differentiated and tailored products that support our risk-based approach and value-driven priorities across a variety of user personas.
Utilizes the US OEC Operations analytics and other systems / tools to identify and monitor potential areas of compliance vulnerability, risk and trends, to conduct compliance-related data analysis, and create data stories to communicate areas of potential risk to relevant stakeholders.
Ensures Compliance observations, mitigation activities and corrective action based on analysis and findings are documented and managed to completion. Works with management to create proactive recommendations prioritizing and addressing the issues through various mitigation channels.
Supports the use and adoption of our analytics and digital platforms through development of effective analytics solutions, providing input on potential options and opportunities to address complex problems, and through the development and delivery of tailored analytics training and communications.
Collaborates with OEC leads to inform Compliance and Analytical insights and reports. Provides in-depth working knowledge of
internal policies and procedures, general industry practices, as well as the internal and external risk environment.

Supports other global OEC initiatives and Operational activities, and which may require ad hoc travel (e.g., US compliance live monitoring).
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree a plus.
5 years Compliance or transferable pharmaceutical and life sciences industry experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including adjusting content and style for various audiences.
Change agile – Ability to be flexible and adjust based on the evolving business and OEC priorities.
Inquisitive and open minded – Ability to learn, understand and guide to bring the best solution or alternatives that supports an efficient and effective Compliance program.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with use of analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik), systems and structures that facilitate an efficient and effective compliance program.
An understanding of business objectives and strategies and how those translate to OEC priorities in order to advise and partner with the business.
Good understanding Pharmaceutical and Medical Device commercial operations and the laws, regulations and guidance applicable to the industry (e.g., Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and of the roles and authority of government agencies and industry partners, PhRMA, FDA, OIG, PDMA, Affordable Care Act, PDMA, ACCME, etc.)
