Linux System Engineer
Position Location : Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH / Dallas, TX / Birmingham, AL / Phoenix, AZ
Ability to work remote : Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remotely
Acceptable time zone(s) : Flexible - EST, CT, PST
Days of the week : Mon-Fri
Working Hours (Flexible) : 40 HRs, 8-5pm core hours, flexible based on time zone (flexed time for potential one off situations)
Length of Assignment : 12 Months Contract with Possible Conversion
Roles and Responsibilities :
Managing the health of a Linux based security system
Being the lead infrastructure specialist
- Understanding servers, networks, how the consumers interact from a user perspective
Level 3 : 4-6 YRS
Must Have Technical Skills :
Infrastructure engineer
Linux / Unix
Server and Networking Fundamentals
Flex Skills / Nice to Have :
Tokenization (newer and niche skill set, so having this is definitely a plus but understandable if candidate does not possess)
Protegrity tokenization experience
Big Data systems, such as Hadoop / Cloudera / Teradata
Education / Certifications :
Experience in lieu of education, but Bachelors degree is nice to have
