Role Overview :
As a Catering Local Field Operator / Catering Captain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of Catering Golden Market orders and delivering an exceptional ordering and delivery experience for our corporate catering clients. This role involves managing high-priority catering orders, coordinating with merchants and clients, and providing on-the-ground support during deliveries. Your work will directly impact the success of our quarterly goals by ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Concierge Order Experience
Coordinate and manage catering orders with corporate clients to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
Build catering orders for client approval and adjust orders as needed.
Place orders and support any modifications to meet client needs.
2. Merchant Order Management and Rapid Acquisition
Collaborate with merchants to manage orders outside the scope of the existing product.
Work with merchants to ensure client requirements are met, including sufficient food quantities and customization.
Onboard new merchants into the catering program to expand offerings and support rapid acquisition efforts.
3. Delivery Support
Serve as the client-facing representative, accompanying Dashers to ensure successful execution of high-stakes orders.
Provide above-and-beyond delivery support, such as last-minute purchases (e.g., utensils) to meet client needs.
Assist with training and onboarding new Dashers into the catering program.
Core Job Requirements :
Client-facing experience : Background in restaurant, catering, or account management is a plus.
Problem-solving skills : Ability to think on your feet and achieve desired outcomes in dynamic situations.
Work ethic and flexibility : Strong dedication, adaptable schedule, and action-oriented mindset.
Communication skills : Excellent written and verbal communication.
Attention to detail and design : Ability to ensure high-quality order setups and menu presentations.
Impact and Scope :
Execute ~25 concierge orders, ~15 merchant-managed orders, and ~5 delivery support tasks weekly.
Represent the brand to corporate clients, ensuring satisfaction and contributing to quarterly goals.
Enable growth by onboarding new merchants and training Dashers to meet the program's evolving needs.
